ArcIMS® (Internet Map Server) is a lightweight, easy to use
interface to the City's GIS data that is accessible over the Internet.
Basic commands are listed below.
Toggle
Legend ON/OFF (Legend shows what the symbols on map mean)
Turn
Overview Map ON/OFF
Zoom
IN
Zoom
OUT
Pan
(Use the hand to drag the map up, down or sideways)
Get
Information from selected layer
Search
the selected layer
- When clicking this icon a dialogue box appears below the
map
- Make sure that Address is the active layer (see below)
- Enter the
Address you are looking for i.e. 123 N MAIN ST.
- If that does not work try just MAIN ST, system will display
all MAIN ST address's

In the Layers box the square check box (Visible) denotes which layer
is turned on while the round box (Active) denotes which layer can
be searched.
